Can I use the new smart, without being connected to electricity? can it cause any defect if i do this?
Hi, I have asked the same question a couple of years ago. The answer is yes, you can but the resistance will be to low. A workaround is to start the trainer plugged in, start a training session, adjust resistance to a desired level and then just remove power. Resistance will not change unless you plug it again to power supply. At that time trainer will do a reset.
You can also use a 12V battery.
